Best Way to Experience Dragon Ball?

Hello everyone,,

hope you're all doing well. I've been a fan of the series for years but I've never had the chance to sit down and watch/read the entire series, especially the Kid Goku episodes/volumes. I've seen all the major episodes and know what I haven't seen from reading discussions or comments. I'd like to revisit the entire series starting from the very beginning and going alk the way through Z and probably eventually Super but likely later down the road.

My question is, what's the best way to do this? Blu-rays or the Mangas seem to be the way to go with the majority likely voting the mangas, especially since getting all the Blu-rays would be ridiculously expensive. With there being so many versions of the manga for both Dragon Ball and Z, I'm not sure what I should be spending my money on. It seems the Viz Bigs are my best bet from what I've read up to now since unfortunately the Full Colors aren't going to be done for ages. There's also the option of buying the Mangas digitally. Does anyone know if the digital versions viz sells are fairly accurate to the original? I'd like as little censorship as I can manage without losing overall quality like the paper or a weak spine.

What do you guys think is the best way to go about this? Physical Mangas? If so, which version? Digital? Blu-ray? I really appreciate you bearing with me while I go on in this post and any help will be greatly appreciated!

i have never read the manga but myself i grew up on dragon ball z. I just bought the orange boxs for dragonball z and the yellow boxs for dragon ball because they are pretty cheap they do contain filler but i liked the filler myself. Alot of people hate on the boxs because they are cropped but honesly it doesn't make them unwatchble to me another option if you want as true to the manga as possible is to get the kai blu rays or the manga itself of course.  Hope i helped
